Carver’s Night At LACC
The Carver’s club sponsored by LACC began in October. It meets the third Thursday evening of each month at 7 PM. The meeting starts with a short presentation by one of the carvers on their particular specialty followed by a question / answer time. The rest of the evening you can work on your own project or talk with the carvers about their projects. Visitors and non-carvers are welcome. Contact John Mehl for details, (218) 864-8525. (No cost). Unfinished Projects
Have a project (or two or three) that you’ve started, but just never find the time to finish? Come to the LACC Unfinished Projects workshops. One is scheduled each month. You can come on Friday evening anytime after 5 PM and work as late as midnight. Leave your project in place and come back Saturday from 9 AM – 4 PM to finish it (or at least make more progress on it). Great opportunity – no cost. Upcoming dates are:

Geocaching Introduction and Workshop
Beginner level intro to this fun and exciting outdoor activity the whole family can enjoy. Its like a treasure hunt using your GPS – and you can do it right here in the local area.
Small Business Fair
Similar to a Craft Fair, this is an opportunity for individuals who sell products such as jewelry, Tupper Ware, packaged food products, their own services, etc. to display their wares and sell them to the public.
Fashion Show
A wonderful event with good food and music, featuring fashions from one of the leading ladies clothing boutiques in the area. A great opportunity to get apparel ideas for the new season and have a nice luncheon out with friends
